DAYDREAMS (1980)
This is Ron's first solo recording. The legendary Chip Davis, creator of the Mannheim Steamroller and founder of American Gramaphone records produced it. Mannheim Steamroller members Chip Davis, Jackson Berkey and Eric Hansen joined Ron on these tracks that mix jazz, pop and classical elements to produce a serene New-Age sound.

RAINBOWS (1982)
Once again, this track is produced by Chip Davis and features the same Mannheim Steamroller members as sidemen. These tracks have a tropical oceanic feel and are meant to inspire peace and good-feelings. Some fine percussion work by Joey Gulizia highlight this music.

THE ANCIENT AND THE INFANT (1988)
In many respects, this project represents a milestone for Ron. It was completed after a rigorous course of study earned Ron a Bachelor's degree in Classical Guitar performance and a Master's degree in Musical Composition and Theory. Influences of classical (ANCIENT) and jazz/pop (INFANT) music are expertly intertwined. Ron's daughter Carly and grandfather Carl were inspirations for the Ancient and Infant thematic references.

LIVIN' THE GOOD LIFE (1991)
Recorded in San Diego, this project was produced by John Archer of Checkfield fame and features many of the players from that group. This has a very contemporary "smooth" jazz sound with lots of electric and acoustic guitar textures.

FIREPLACE MEMORIES (1993)
This is Ron's first unaccompanied solo project and features original "new acoustic" guitar music performed on an Ovation Adamis steel-string guitar. This is meditative music, which is inspirational when listened to around a crackling fireplace on a cold night or on a front porch with a cool summer breeze.

This is a collection of music by Mozart, Lully, Bach, Tarrega and other famous composers for solo guitar and various guitar ensembles arranged and performed by Ron Cooley.
